Maestro Knows

Just launched the new maestroknows.com for my man Levi Maestro, designed and coded by yours truly. We created a place for all things MK, including a custom, Vimeo-powered episode viewer as well as a full re-tooling of his blog. Shouts to jQuery, Wordpress, and Vimeo for providing the necessary technologies. Oh, and check out the initial sketch Levi had me go off of: mk.com design plan.

Resampled

Belgian photographer Filip Dujardin makes images of unexpected buildings – that is, he “combines photographs of parts of buildings into new, fictional, architectonic structures,” Mark Magazine explains.

Gorgeous work. A unique way to use photo manipulation to create fictional architectural structures.

Showtime

You should really check out Matt Furie (link). Definitely a top 5 for me as far as illustration goes.

New hip hop albums galore for me. I’ve been sleeping hard. Black Milk – Tronic, Madlib Beat Konducta’s Vol. 5 and 6, Illa J – Yancey Boys, and don’t forget David Banner – The Greatest Story Ever Told (the man is genius).
